I have been looking to replace my girlfriend's mother's gas boiler as it had become problematic, frequently stalling with an error. I have been following the transition in the heating industry around the move to heat pumps and it seemed like a good time to make the switch with the boiler upgrade scheme. I already had an awareness of some of the requirements of low temperature heating systems and the importance of an upfront heat loss survey to ensure the system would be designed correctly. With this in mind, my priority was finding someone with the knowledge and experience to design the system correctly, so as not be left with a load of issues to fix retrospectively. A heat loss survey was carried out and Chris broke down the requirements of the design, so it was easy to understand. We agreed to go ahead with the work and have zero regrets with the outcome. House is warm, hot water is plentiful and the outside unit is whisper quiet. Most importantly the running costs are lower than the gas boiler it replaced. The work is of a very high standard with standard, neat pipework and everything was put back as it was. I would not hesitate to recommend Chris, already have and he is genuinely a very nice chap.
